Auditioning for Albany Pro Musica
Albany Pro Musica
is a highly selective group of up to 80 singers with a high level of musicianship and vocal technique. This group is expected to sing diverse choral literature and must commit to sing all subscription concerts as well as take part, as often as possible, in additional singing engagements, events and responsibilities that support our fundraising and community efforts. The ensemble size occasionally varies based on the artistic needs of a particular concert or event.
Spring 2026 Auditions
Albany Pro Musica is holding auditions for all voice parts on April 15 & 16, 2026. Interested singers should confirm their availability and interest for the 2026 Summer season and 2027 subscription concert series when scheduling or inquiring about auditions. APM will perform in concerts on June 5 and August 15 in Summer 2026. Next season concert dates are: October 18, 2026, December 13, 2026, March 7, 2027, & May 2, 2027.
