I Hear America Singing

Albany Pro Musica closes its season of American music with several majestic works for chorus and orchestra. Through the poetry and prose of Walt Whitman, Robert Frost, and Abraham Lincoln, and with music by contemporary American composers Robert Paterson, Randall Thompson, and Aaron Copland, the program explores themes of democracy, individuality, leadership, and human connection.
Subscription packages for Albany Pro Musica’s 2026-2027 season will be available in July. Single tickets for Albany Pro Musica’s 2026-2027 concerts will go on sale in early September.
