A Vision Unfolding is a powerful program by EXIGENCE Vocal Ensemble, a professional group of solo performers, educators, conductors, and composers who transform lives through performance and the artistry of our communities. Under the visionary leadership of founding conductor Eugene Rogers, EXIGENCE celebrates the power of community and expression through choral music—uplifting voices from our communities and using their artistry as a vehicle for change within the cultural landscape of concert choral and vocal music.
The Pro Musica International Choral Festival is a FREE, week-long choral institute for high-school students, held at the University at Albany. Students develop their musicianship through rehearsals, workshops, and vocal clinics with a renowned faculty, and sing under the direction of esteemed guest conductors and alongside professional ensembles.
The Festival will offer three remarkable performances which will be open to the public, featuring EXIGENCE, Albany Pro Musica, and the Student Festival Chorus.
