DESCRIPTION:Hearts will pound as gifted student musicians join Albany Pro Musica onstage for a transforming experience: the chance to sing and play with the region’s premier chorus at a nationally renowned concert hall. The Empire State Repertory Orchestra and choirs from local high schools will all perform individually\, followed by a grand finale – 260 voices and instrumentalists under the baton of APM Artistic Director José Daniel Flores-Caraballo.

DESCRIPTION:Favorite Master Choruses of all time with the Pro Musica Orchestra.\nTroy Savings Bank Music Hall and Albany Pro Musica join forces to celebrate the historic alliance between both organizations with this spectacular Anniversary Gala Concert.  The masters engraved in the walls of the music hall define not only the history of this historical venue\, they define the over three decades of Albany Pro Musica’s musical journey.  Bach\, Mozart\, Brahms\, Handel\, and Haydn are some of the composers that will make this a night to be remembered.  The concert will be preceded by a festive reception to honor the patrons that shape our community with the loving support they provide to Albany Pro Musica and to the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall.

DESCRIPTION:APM Joined the Philadelphia Orchestra to perform Holst’s “The Planets”\nAlbany Pro Musica joined the Philadelphia Orchestra at Saratoga Performing Arts Center to perform Gustav Holst’s “The Planets”. Directed by Bramwell Tovey\, the women of APM joined for the final movement entitled “Neptune”. This work was composed from 1914 to 1916. Each of the seven movements is named after a planet of the Solar System and has a distinctive musical character that relates to its corresponding astrological character\, as defined by Holst.
