Moving in the Elements: a featured performance of the Pro Musica International Choral Festival

July 19 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

$25

Moving in the Elements is the final performance of the 2025 Pro Musica International Choral Festival and will feature the Student Festival Chorus, comprised of 150 talented high school singers from across North America. Led by Rollo Dilworth, this diverse and engaging performance connects singers and audiences to the elemental world around us with works by Elaine Hagenberg, Eric Whitacre, Frank Tichelli, B.E. Boykin, and others. The concert caps off a remarkable week of learning and music-making, and will showcase the world premiere of a new work commissioned from the Festival’s composer and conductor in residence, Rollo Dilworth.

The Pro Musica International Choral Festival is a FREE, week-long choral institute for high-school students, held at the University at Albany. Students develop their musicianship through rehearsals, workshops, and vocal clinics with a renowned faculty, and sing under the direction of esteemed guest conductors and alongside professional ensembles.

The Festival will offer three remarkable performances which will be open to the public, featuring EXIGENCE, Albany Pro Musica, and the Student Festival Chorus.
