Albany Pro Musica

Composer in Residence Program

Every season, Albany Pro Musica invites prominent composers to become our Composer-in-Residence. This innovative program enhances our educational mission, while bringing new choral/orchestral works to life, augmenting APM’s legacy of excellent choral music in the Northeast and beyond.

In addition to the premiere performance of new works, Composers-in-Residence provide music from their current catalog of compositions for the season programs, participate as director, accompanist and/or lecturer at the High School Festival as well as at some of our subscription concerts.
